Information about Sola Airshow
Sola Airshow
Sola Airshow hosts several events related to aviation in various sizes and formats. Common to all is a genuine interest in everything that whizzes through the air. We invite large, small, Norwegian and international participants with a desire to give the public unique experiences both on the ground and in the air.
The events are tailored to different audiences and levels of ambition, and offer the audience, enthusiasts and actors alike the opportunity to experience aviation up close.
Flydagene 2026
This year, the Flydagene are held on the last weekend of May - Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May. We are hoping for a good mix of international and national participants and, as always, we are crossing our fingers for exemplary weather.
Helpful tips
Dress according to the conditions: This is an all-day event that lasts from morning to afternoon, remember to bring enough clothes and preferably a bag of change clothes in case it rains. Umbrella can and should be.
Hearing protection: You get to experience airplanes up close and these make a lot of noise, remember to take care of your hearing and wear earmuffs or plugs when it makes the most noise.
Camping chair: It can be many hours of standing if you are going to be on the range from start to finish. Feel free to bring a lightweight camping chair so your legs get some rest.
Rules
Dogs are not allowed at the Open Hangar: Dogs hardly thrive in the conditions that are at an air show, a frightened loose dog can and does pose a safety risk.
Grilling and the like: Barbecues, gas stoves, storm kitchens and the like are not allowed.
