The North American T-6 Texan (Harvard) was a training aircraft used during World War II. Fighter and bomber pilots received instruction and training here, preparing them for transitioning to other aircraft such as the P-51D Mustang.

T-6 Texan is the official name used by the US Air Force, but outside the USA, the aircraft has been known and called Harvard since the war, and this is the name used by countries such as Canada, England, and Norway.

Scenic Flight in the Harvard

Flying Aces offers scenic flights in their Harvard from Stavanger Airport, Sola, from May 27–31. This means you can fly either Thursday or Friday before the Airshow Days. During the airshow, no scenic flights will be available, but you can book a time before 10:00 AM or after 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
