Super Cub
A classic workhorse aircraft with roots from the early Cold War is coming to the Airshow.

The Piper Super Cub is an American multi-purpose aircraft known for its excellent STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) capabilities. This aircraft type has been used for everything from liaison and reconnaissance to training and observation, and could operate from short, primitive airstrips near the front lines.
The aircraft coming to the Airshow was built in 1951 as a military L-18C Super Cub and served, among other places, in the French Air Force during the early Cold War. After many years abroad, the aircraft arrived in Norway in 1982 and has been based at Sola since 1999.

Super Cub
