Tiger Moth
A true piece of local aviation history takes to the air again

Since 2017, Sola High School's Department of Aviation has restored a Tiger Moth together with teachers, students and good help from the aviation history community.
The aircraft is painted in the same colours as the Tiger Moth 181, Ole Reistad's 1937 machine. This was the first flying machine to land on hard cover at Sola airfield in January 1937.
After 6 years of work and toil, the Tiger Moth had its first test flight in 2024.
